Packed and ready to go
It’s almost time 🙂
Bike is packed and ready to go. Plans (loose as they are) are made.
As I mentioned in my trip planing note, I plan to blog this trip. This is more for my own benefit than anyone elses. Although it’s been a very long time since I did any significant travelling, I greatly regret not having documented my last major trip as the fine detail of those memory’s after more than a decade are mostly forgotten. Worse, photos, non-digital in those days, lost.

I’ll be taking an overnight Ferry to the mainland UK, then on to my first camp spot in Wareham. Weather report says maybe a little rain, but also predicting 45mph winds, which I’m not to pleased about. Not taking motorways where possible. This route also takes me through the New Forest National Park, so hopefully get to see some nice scenery along the way.
