I’ve recently noticed the disk clean-up tool in Microsoft Windows appears to have been improved. I’m seeing the previously unnoticed (by me at least) option ‘Windows Update Cleanup’ as per the image below on machines. I’m used to manually doing this on the various OS’s occasionally, so it’s really good to see an official and somewhat more convenient way to do this.
It’s a quick and easy way to remove those Gb’s of now redundant OS patches that most people will have accumulated over the course of their PC’s life.
