New Release of pjsProfileBars
A new version of pjsProfileBars for NinjaTrader 8 has been released and is now available for download.
This update includes a range of improvements across performance, analytics, visualisation, and automation features. It is a recommended upgrade for all users.
The release continues to expand the analytical capabilities of pjsProfileBars while improving usability and chart performance.
Highlights of this Release
Signals and analytics improvements
A new Signals framework has been introduced. Signals are events generated by bars that can be used in AlgoBars conditions, automation logic, and future integrations. This release also introduces an enhanced analytics engine and a new Signal Performance Analyzer that evaluates signal effectiveness using metrics such as hit rate, profit factor, and Sharpe ratio.
Data Analytics add-on (Beta)
A new companion analytics service has been added to help identify trading opportunities using probability and statistical analysis. The system can analyse historical bar data and report the performance of detected signals.
Improved AlgoBars functionality
AlgoBars conditions have been expanded significantly. They now support arithmetic operators, parentheses, additional variables such as VAH and VAL, and case-insensitive expressions, allowing more complex logic without custom code.
Enhanced visualisation and profiling tools
New and improved chart features include:
- Optional full session volume profiles
- Delta and volume bucketing to analyse participation across different trader sizes
- New VWAP plots and metrics
- Improved liquidity zone detection
- Initial balance display in session profiles
- Optional volume bubbles candle style
- Configurable trend lines, breakout markers, and tabs
- New companion pjsProfielBarsPlots indicator, providing third-party access to metrics
Rendering performance when drawing detailed profiles has also been significantly improved.
Workflow and usability improvements
This release adds a variety of usability features, including:
- Real-time font size adjustment via keyboard shortcuts
- Additional right-click chart controls
- Improved layout spacing and UI refinement
- Better performance through internal code optimisations and updated statistical libraries.
